The Digital Supply Chain Leaders Network (DSCLN)

The Digital Supply Chain Leaders Network is an exclusive, peer-only, network of the people who have the ultimate responsibility for the end-to-end Supply Chain in some of the biggest and most important companies in the UK and Europe. Only these individuals are capable of creating a joined-up vision of how the Supply Chain will transform over time, and bringing together the Supply Chain capabilities to deliver that change.

The Supply Chain is being transformed by many things, but principally by “digitalisation” as part of Industry 4.0 and this comes in many forms, including: Blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), Connected Cab/Autonomous Vehicles, Drones/Robotics, AI and Machine Learning, etc.

Putting together this rapidly evolving set of technologies into something which grows the business isn’t easy; it’s pioneering territory. Which means that a network of like-minded individuals is the right place to discuss the relative merits, feasibility, and value of each.

The Network is run by Baptie & Co, an independent, specialist organisation which runs similar strategic groups across multiple sectors. The Network is supported by a number of major companies from the Supply Chain world, including Wincanton, Zebra Technologies, PWC and Russell Reynolds, IBM and SEGRO.

The objectives of the Network are:

1- To put in place a programme of face to face events supplemented with an active on-line community of which set out to understand the full potential of the Digitised Supply Chain. Each work stream will deliver White Papers, insights and industry commentary which promotes the DSCN, its leadership and member companies.

2- To understand how the CSCO/SCD, or equivalent roles, can develop their potential to broaden their influence in their business and capitalise on opportunities presented by the digitization of the Supply Chain.
